  • The Exium DD cell was developed using Exium’s extensive knowledge of the design and performance characteristics demanded of an oil field cell. This design knowledge was combined with the automated manufacturing expertise and development capabilities of our manufacturing partner.
  • We manufacture the cells under an exclusive contractual partnership with a South Korean Manufacturer. A company known for its world-class quality manufacturing.
  • This company is an ISO 9001 certified company who produces millions of lithium thionyl chloride cells annually for commercial, military, and aerospace applications.
  • They have over 20 years of experience manufacturing lithium cells.

How is the Exium DD cell manufactured?

  • The Exium DD cell is manufactured using an automated manufacturing process. This process leads to uniform product with tight performance characteristics.
  • We employ a strict Quality Control Program as part of the Manufacturing Process. The process includes 100% OCV, CCV, and dimensional inspection. This level of inspection is enhanced by capacity discharge verification performed on 4% of the cells in each lot produced. As a result you receive the highest level of performance assurance.
  • Exium performs additional incoming QC inspections on the DD cells manufactured to ensure the very best product available to the market. Exium receiving QC includes OCV, and CCV checks to verify the absence of latent performance issues and X-Ray analysis to confirm the tightest manufacturing tolerance.
